Тема 12. Неопределенные и отрицательные местоимения

 

Some – некоторый, несколько, немного и его производные someone/somebody кто-то, something что-то, somewhere где-то, somehowкак-то – употребляются в утвердительных предложениях. I have got some good books. Но some может употребляться в вопросительных предложениях, выражающих просьбу или предложение. Can you give me some tea? Any - некоторый, несколько, немного и его производные anyone/anybody кто-то, anything что-то, anywhere где-то, anyhow как-то – употребляются в вопросительных и отрицательных предложениях. Но any может употребляться в утвердительных предложениях в значении любой, всякий, каждый. Any child knows about it. No – нет, никакой, нисколько и его производные no one/ nobody никто, nothing ничего, nowhere нигде – употребляются в отрицательных предложениях. В английских предложениях может быть только одно отрицание. I have no money. = I haven’t got any money.
