THE INFINITIVE

Инфинитив имеет формы залога, а также формы времени. Как и у других неличных форм глагола, время, выраженное инфинитивом, имеет относительное значение, т.е. формы времени инфинитива обычно выражают действие, одновременное или предшествующее по отношению к действию, выраженному глаголом в личной форме.

Indefinite Infinitive выражает действия, происходящие одновременно с действием, выраженным глаголом-сказуемым или следующее за ним во времени.
