1. Conjugate the following verbs in brackets in Present, Past and Future (speak, arrive, show, prepare, attend, serve, drink).

Rosa arrives for her first day at work. Read and translate the dialogue, then answer the questions.

 

Rosa: Good morning!

Peter: Buenos dias, Rosa.

Rosa: Do you speak Spanish?

Peter: Not really. But I can speak French.

Rosa: All right. Is Sam here?

Peter: No, he always arrives late. Can I show you the restaurant?

Rosa: Oh, yes, please.

Peter: Well, this is the reception area, with the cloakroom next to it, and here is the bar, where I work.

Rosa: Do you work alone in the bar?

Peter: Yes. I prepare all the drinks, attend the customers at the bar and serve drinks to the tables. Would you like a coffee?

Peter: Sure. No, not that way: they are the toilets. The dining-room is on the right.

Rosa: Oh, it’s really nice!

Peter: And there is a small private dining-room over there.

Rosa: Well, it’s very nice, but I would like to see the kitchen.
