Educational program 6М051800 - Project management, is aimed towards educating top qualification specialists without category, top qualification specialists of second category, top qualification specialists of first category. Achieving this objective requires execution of a number of tasks, including targeted formation of students' capacity, specialized theoretical and practical training of students in the learning process focused on the current needs of the employer.

3.2 Qualification characteristics of graduate students’ educational program

The graduate of the master's program "6М051800 - Project management" is awarded the academic degree of master of Project management.

Project management is a field of science and technology, which includes a set of tools, techniques and methods of human activity aimed at the creation and application of systems of collection, reporting, storage, transmission and processing of information in project managrment.

The basic educational program for masters on "6М051800-Project management" is developed on the basis of the current state educational standard and includes curriculum, programs of academic subjects, and programs of practical training.

• theory, models and methods of disciplines domain management, namely, economy, state regulation of economy, finance, project management, basics of accounting, audit and economic analysis, strategic and tactical management, business law, financial management, and human resource management and international economic relations;

• timely ways of collecting, storing and processing information, the basis of modern information technologies, methods of stimulating innovation;

• Quality control of the foundations, labor law, anti-trust control, pricing;

• standards of business ethics, corporate culture and corporate social responsibility.

The objectives of the educational program are reviewed considering the needs of society, economy and labor market. This is evidenced by the introduction of a new State mandatory standard of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2011 and typical curricula for specialty 6М051800 - "Project management" in 2012. The program's objectives dynamics are confirmed by periodic approval of the program contents jointly with employers and vendors that participate in the definition of the list of elective courses, providing practical bases, co-supervising graduation projects of students, reviewing graduation projects.

The educational program 6М051800 – «Project management» is aimed for the following goals (G):
