The problem of corruption is extremely important and actual in political, economic and social life in Russia and around the world. Everybody knows what it is, and perhaps somebody has faced a bribery. It’s not a secret that corruption exists in all spheres of social life, it manifests itself in various forms and shapes. Corruption destroys democratic society, hinders the development of the business. Officials allow "authorized" commercial organizations to engage in activities which bring huge profits, that means they get the privilege to be rich. So, these organizations pay for it “the new types bribes” to government officials, almost impossible to uncover these bribes through the investigation . In modern Russia, from the scope of corruption relations are deduced private consumption, many factors of production. The opportunities for windfall profit become the main subject of corruption trade. Features a modern public administration radically change an official’s position. A bribe becomes the only one motivation of activity for the huge number of the officials. Everybody should understand that it is necessary to stop giving bribes, a profit and revenue increase in the short term will be a result of a significant deterioration in the economic development of our country in the long run.

 

Tax evasion - why people do not pay taxes?

Is it worth to pay taxes? Of course, it is worth! The state use taxes to build hospitals and roads, to pay pensions, benefits and implement significant national projects. At the same time we face a large-scale tax evasion. Many people in our country work in the informal, “grey” sector of economy.Often people avoid paying taxes on the grounds that they do not have enough money for taxes. First of all we are talking about micro business or those who are just starting to run their business. It often happens in the villages, that the entrepreneur earns 3-5 thousand rubles a month. People with such incomes unable to pay 3000 rubles to the pension fund every month.

Russia is a large country, the standard of living is different in each region. The life is expensive somewhere and we need to pay much for the essentials, but in some places we need not much enough to live luxuriously. Russian statistics (Rosstat) began publishing rankings the lives cost of Russians. Research affects almost three hundred Russian cities. And Moscow is not in top of the list of the most expensive cities. Our capital is not even in the top ten. It ahead of 33 localities, which are located to the east and north of the country. The cheapest city are in the Saratov region: Balakovo, Rtishevo and Balashov. The life is comparatively cheap there. Determination of the more expensive and the cheapest cities in Russia was based on using the so-called cost of living index (COLI). It allows us to compare what cities have the high cost of living, and in which the contrary, the lowest. The national average COLI took 100 per cent. If in a city it is 150 per cent, living there is one and a half times more expensive than the national average. Conversely, if the index is below a hundred per cent, it is cheaper to live there. However, let’s mention that all calculations are based on a single statistic information for consumer prices.

According to the calculations, the most expensive city became Bilibino, which is situated in Chukotka. Moreover, it is the most expensive city not only in Russia but throughout the world. It just rolls index, and is 222.2 percent. But the prices in the capital are not too different from the average for Russia. The capital cost of living index reached 126.7 percent. If we believe Rosstat, the Moscow cost of living is lower than the "price category" in Khabarovsk, Surgut and Khanty-Mansiysk. In what city- millionaire the prices are the highest? It’s strange, but Moscow is not in the first place also. The real costs of the population in Moscow, that means the amount for which you can buy a minimum set of products, were 12.310 rubles. Belokamennaya was in fourth place among the expensive cities with such a rate. Khabarovsk was named the most expensive city-millionaire. In this city, the average index of spending is 16,355 rubles. Experts clarify that the most people spend their money on car and communal services. If we talk in terms of numbers, the average is 3908 and 3855 rub. The rest is spent on food (2882 rubles) and drugs (1664 rubles). You could buy the set of products at democratic prices in Nizhny Novgorod (2441 rubles) and Perm (2456 rubles). In Khabarovsk, the same basket of goods will cost at least a thousand rubles more.

Regarding the service of car Russians can spend the main part of their money, the average Russian car owner has to spend a month 3908 rubles.
