GRAMMAR TEST WORK № 1.

I. Use the Present Indefinite, Continuous, Perfect or Perfect Continuous and comment:

1. The sun (shine) with different degrees of heating power in different parts of the world.

Grammar Test Work 2.

I. Fill in the spaces using the Future Simple, the Future Continuous, the Future Perfect or the Future Perfect Continuous of the verb in the brackets. The first (0) is given as an example.

Rosa When shall I come round (0 come round)? Is Thursday still OK?

Maria Well, don’t come at six – I _________ (1 work) then.

Rosa What time do you think you _________ (2 be) free?

II. Choose the correct form of the verbs.

CONFERENCE REPORT (Parkhouse Hotel 5th September)   The conference was very successful. The seminars and talks (1) were / had been extremely interesting and it was obvious that all the speakers (2) had prepared / preparedtheir material very thoroughly. Everyone agreed that this should become an annual event. There were however a number of administrative problems.
