Наиболее часто упоминаемые авторы в отдельных субдисциплинах

Распределение наиболее часто упоминаемых авторов по рангу, предложен­ное в приложении 1В, отражает их ведущее положение либо в одной из суб­дисциплин (дифференциация), либо в междисциплинарных исследованиях (интеграция), либо и то и другое. Для того, чтобы уточнить, где именно более сильны те или иные ученые, мы решили выявить наиболее заметных в каж­дой субдисциплине.

Кто же является лидером в отдельных отраслях политической науки? К их числу относятся ученые, занимающие три первые позиции при распределе­нии имен по числу их упоминаний в библиографических списках внутри одной какой-либо части книги, посвященной определенной субдисциплине. В результате проведенных подсчетов получилось, что 59 авторов (или 3,6% от общего числа упомянутых) занимают ведущее положение в какой-то одной субдисциплине, а в случае с тремя авторами (Маккаббинз, части II и VIII;

Стоукс, части III и VII; Верба, части I и IV) в нескольких. Их имена пере­числены в таблице А 1е.

Интеграция субдисциплин в единую науку

Из 59 наиболее часто упоминаемых в отдельных субдисциплинах авторов (прилож. 1Е) имена 20 ученых (или 34%) встречаются в работах, посвящен­ных проблематике дисциплины в целом (табл. А 1в). Около двух третей этих выдающихся представителей субдисциплин получили признание главным обра­зом в тех отраслях науки, в которых они непосредственно заняты, что служит показателем дифференцированности политической науки. Лишь 10 исследова­телей (или 17%) из 59 наиболее часто упоминаемых в рамках субдисциплин одновременно входят в список интеграторов дисциплины (прилож. 1Д).Болеедетальная картина представлена в таблице А 1ж.

Если рассматривать полученный результат с позиций дифференциации и интеграции, можно сделать вывод о том, что исследования в области полити­ческого поведения, международных отношений, политической теории, соци­альной политики, политического управления и особенно политической мето­дологии ведутся достаточно независимо. Сравнительно немногие из авторитетов субдисциплин входят в число цитируемых авторов политической науки в целом (прилож. 1В), и тем более выступают в роли ее интеграторов (прилож 1Д).

Во втором столбце рассматривается вопрос «Входят ли работы данного автора в число наиболее часто упоминаемых в рамках дисциплины в целом?». Имена специалистов, перечисленные в приложении 1В, отмечены здесь знач­ком плюс (+). Это означает, что они являются «выдающимися учеными политологии».

В третьем столбце рассматривается вопрос «Входят ли работы данного авто­ра в число наиболее часто упоминаемых в одной или более из восьми специ­альных отраслей политической науки, анализируемых в настоящей книге?». Группа 1. К числу «столпов» политической науки можно отнести ученых, которые одно­временно отмечены как интеграторы дисциплины и часто упоминаемы в литературе, при­чем литературе как общедисциплинарного, так и специального характера. В соответствии с этими критериями мы выделили 10 (0,6%) наиболее крупных специалистов.

Группа 2. К следующей группе ученых следует отнести «выдающихся интеграторов». В нее входят те авторы, работы которых чаще всего упоминаются применительно к дисциплине в целом, а не к какой-то ее отдельной области. Выдающимися интеграторами можно назвать 7 ученых (0,4%).

Группа 3. Можно было бы назвать «менее заметными» 4 интеграторов (0,2%), потому что ссылки на их работы, посвященные как дисциплине в целом, так и ее отдельным областям, встречаются несколько реже.

Группа 4. Все ученые, которые могут быть отнесены к числу интеграторов, входят в состав первых трех групп. Далее следуют «широко известные представители отраслевой на­уки», к их числу относятся специалисты, работы которых наиболее часто упоминаются в изданиях, посвященных как дисциплине в целом, так и отдельным субдисциплинам (10 ученых — 0,6%).

Группа 5. Еще 7 авторов (0,4%) можно назвать просто «известными учеными». Это озна­чает, что их работы относятся к числу наиболее часто упоминаемых в трудах, имеющих отношение к дисциплине в целом, а не к отдельным ее отраслям, но вместе с тем их нельзя включить в состав интеграторов.

Группа 6. В группы 1—6 вошли все ученые, являющиеся интеграторами дисциплины, а также те из них, работы которых чаще всего упоминаются в публикациях, посвященных дисциплине в целом. К числу оставшихся крупных специалистов в области политической науки следует отнести тех, чьи труды чаще всего упоминаются в тех отраслях, которыми они занимаются, не соответствуя вместе с тем двум другим критериям. Их можно назвать «особыми представителями субдисциплин» (39 авторов — 2,4%).

Группа 7. Авторы (76 — 4,7%), отмеченные в группах 1—6, исчерпывают список ученых, которые, исходя из предложенных нами критериев могут считаться интеграторами дисцип­лины в целом или выдающимися специалистами, труды которых наиболее часто упомина­ются как в междисциплинарных, так и в субдисциплинарных публикациях. Что касается остальных 1523 авторов, имена которых встречаются в книге «Политическая наука: новые направления», то они представляют собой основной корпус современных политологов, поскольку в списках литературы этой книги были отобраны наиболее важные работы.
