Exercise 4. Read and translate the following.

“Animal Farm” is a book by George Orwell. In the story, a group of animals decide to live in a society in which they are all equal, but the pigs soon become the leaders and state that they are in fact better than the others. They say that “all animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others”. This phrase is often used when saying that it is impossible to organize a society as a communist society, with everyone equal, because some people will always become the leaders sooner or later.

Exercise 5. Summarise your notes on George Orwell and his novels “1984”, Animal Farm” (in written form).
