Purposes and goals of the Contest

  • Support and promotion of children and teenagers creativity.
  • Increase performance skills of individual performers and creative collectives.
  • Establish professional and creative contacts between participants and heads of collectives from other countries, the strengthening of friendly relations and creative contacts of children and youth from different countries in the field of cultural exchange.
  • Exchange of professional experience and qualification’s improvement of teachers.
  • Identification of talented performers.

 

Place and Dates of the Contest

§ Republic of Belarus, Minsk. October 22-23, 30, 2016.

§ Address:Palace of Children and Youth "Zolak", Minsk, Partizanskij Avenue, 146.

Minsk State College of Arts, Minsk, Kizhevatova str., 9.

§ Master Classes and Round tables with the members of the Jury and the participants will be held during the Contest.

 

Creative collectives (bands) and solo artists from the age of 4 and older (without limits) who are citizens of the Republic of Belarus, CIS countries and the European Union are invited to participate at the Contest.

 

Nominations, forms and age of participants

Nomination Vocals:

- pop;

- academic;

- folk;

- author song.

 

Forms:

- solo;

- ensemble (2 to 8 people);

- choir (from 9 people and more).

 

Age of participants SOLO and DUET:

4-5 years; 6-7 years; 8-9 years; 10-11 years;12-13 years; 14-15 years, 16-17 years,18 years and older.

 

Age of participants ENSEMBLE:

5-7 years, 8-10 years,11-13 years,14- 17 years; 18 years and older.

Age of participants CHOIR:

6-10 years, 11-15 years, 16 years and older.

 

Groups are defined by the senior member of group.

 

Participants present one work, not more than 5 minutes, to phonogram (-1), accompanied by accordion, piano, or a capella.


Criteria for assessing of the performances: vocal skills, timbre, power of voice, acting skills, complexity of the repertoire, correspondence of the repertoire to the performance capabilities of the competitor, work with a microphone, artistry, originality, entertainment, scenic culture, suit, technical skills.

 

Nomination Choreography:

- Pop dance;
- Classical dance;
- Folk dance;
- East Dance;
- Modern dance.

Forms:

- solo;

- group (2 people and more).

 

Age of participants SOLO:

4-5 years; 6-7 years; 8-9 years; 10-11 years;12-13 years; 14-15 years, 16-17 years, 18 years and older.

 

Age of participants GROUP:

5-7 years, 8-10 years,11-13 years,14- 17 years; 18 years and older.

 

Groups are defined by the senior member of the group.

 

Participants present one work, not more than 4 minutes, to phonogram.

 

Criteria for assessing of the performances:compositional solution, complexity of the repertoire, correspondence of the repertoire to the performance capabilities of the competitor, flexibility, artistry, originality, entertainment, scenic culture, suit, technical skills.

 

 

Nomination Declamation (dramatic reading)

Forms:

- solo;

- group (2 to 8 people).

 

Age of participants SOLO:

6-7 years, 8-10 years, 11-12 years, 13-15 years, 16-18 years, 19 years and older.

 

Age of participants GROUP:

6-7 years, 8-10 years, 11-12 years, 13-15 years, 16-18 years, 19 years and older.

 

Criteria for assessing of the performances:participant’s understanding of the content and images of the composition, matching the product to the nature and age of the participant, artistry, scenic culture, the ability to transfer the image to the listener, tact, sense of proportion, rhythmic accuracy, technique of speech, diction, orthoepy, logic of speech.

Participants present one work not more than 5 minutes on a small stage with or without microphone. Performance can be with musical accompaniment.

 

Nomination Instrumental performance:

- Piano,

- Folk instruments (accordion, harmonica)

- Folk stringed plucked instruments (domra, balalaika, guitar, etc.)

- Folk many stringed plucked instruments (cymbals, bandura, harp, etc.)

- Stringed bowed instruments
- Wind instruments
- Percussion instruments

- "Young composer"

Forms:

-solo, 2-3 members, 4-5 members, 6-8 members, ensembles of 9 and more players and orchestras

Age of participants SOLO:

5-6 years, 7-8 years; 9-11 years; 12-13 years; 14-17 years, 18-19 years, 20 yearsand older.

Age of participants 2-3 members, 4-5 members, 6-8 members:

5-8 years, 9-11 years,12-13 years,14- 17 years; 18-19 years, 20 years and older.
