Your family is moving. You are not sure as to whether to move out
to the country or into the city. Dwell upon:
• the advantages and disadvantages of both;
• the problems you might have living in a big city or in the country.
1)Living in the country or in the city has
both advantages and disadvantages.
2)If you live in the city, you have many
opportunities to get good education, to go
in for sport or develop your talents in numerous
clubs and studios. 3)At weekends
you can visit different museums, galleries,
theatres or concerts. 4)Moreover, you have
more job opportunities here. 5)If you live in
the country, you can enjoy fresh and clean
air all year round. 6)Country life is very
peaceful, quiet and less stressful. 7)People
here are very friendly because they know
each other. 8)You may grow your own fruit
and vegetables or keep chickens and cows
and have fresh meat, milk and eggs.
9)On the other hand, there are some disadvantages
of living in both places. 10)Our
cities are overcrowded. 11)Sometimes it
takes hours to get to the necessary place
and people suffer from traffic jams and the
lack of fresh air. 12)Life in the countryside
may seem boring as there are no theatres,
cinemas and clubs here. 13)Moreover,
there isn’t much public transport and you
need to have your own car to get to the
hospital or to the supermarket.
14)All in all, every place is good for living.
15)But I still don’t know which one to choose.

у місті має як переваги, так і недоліки.
2)Якщо ти живеш у місті, ти маєш
багато можливостей здобути гарну
освіту, займатись спортом чи розвивати
свої таланти у численних гуртках та
студіях. 3)У вихідні можна відвідувати
різні музеї, галереї, театри чи
концерти. 4)До того ж у вас тут більше
можливостей знайти роботу. 5)Якщо ти
живеш у сільській місцевості, ти можеш
насолоджуватись свіжим чистим пові-
трям протягом всього року. 6)Життя
в селі дуже спокійне, тихе та менш
напружене. 7)Люди тут дуже приві-
тні, тому що знають один одного. 8)Ти
можеш вирощувати власні фрукти та
овочі чи тримати курей та корів і мати
свіже м’ясо, молоко та яйця.
9)З іншого боку, є недоліки про-
живання в обох місцях. 10)Наші міста
переповнені людьми. 11)Іноді ви го-
динами добираєтесь до певного місця,
люди страждають від автомобільних
заторів, та їм бракує свіжого повітря.
12)Життя у сільській місцевості може
здатись нудним, тому що тут немає те-
атрів, кінотеатрів та клубів. 13)Більше
того, тут мало громадського транспорту
і необхідно мати власне авто, щоб дістатись
лікарні чи супермаркету.
14)В цілому жити гарно в кожному
місці. 15)Але я ще не вирішив, яке
обрати.
