Of society and why
1)There are thousands of professions
in modern society. 2)Some of them like
a doctor, a teacher, a journalist or a baker
have existed for hundreds of years. 3)Some
of them like a computer programmer, a designer
or a beauty therapist have recently
come to our life. 4)It’s very difficult to
identify which profession is more or less
important. 5)We can’t imagine modern life
without people who provide us with food,
clothes, medical help, education, safety,
information and what not. 6)Farmers give
us vegetables and fruit, meat, milk and
eggs. 7)Journalists report the latest news.
8)Lawyers help us regulate our rights
and duties. 9)Architects design buildings,
roads, monuments and other constructions
which are necessary for our towns and
cities. 10)If any of existing professions
suddenly disappears, we will immediately
find our life uncomfortable. 11)The most
important thing is that we can choose the
profession we like and become good specialists.
12)So, to my mind, there are no unimportant
professions, but there are people
who have made the wrong choice.
1)У сучасному суспільстві існують
тисячі професій. 2)Деякі з них, такі
як лікар, вчитель, журналіст чи пекар,
існують тисячі років. 3)Деякі, такі як
програміст, дизайнер чи косметолог,
увійшли в наше життя нещодавно.
4)Дуже важко визначити, яка профе-
сія більш важлива чи менш важлива.
5)Ми не можемо уявити сучасне життя
без людей, які забезпечують нас їжею,
одягом, медичною допомогою, освітою,
безпекою, інформацією та багато чим
іншим. 6)Фермери дають нам ово-
чі та фрукти, м’ясо, молоко та яйця.
7)Журналісти повідомляють останні
новини. 8)Юристи допомагають ре-
гулювати наші права та обов’язки.
9)Архітектори проектують будинки,
дороги, пам’ятники та інші споруди, які
необхідні для наших великих та малих
міст. 10)Якщо будь-яка з існуючих
професій раптом зникне, ми відразу
відчуємо, що наше життя стало не-
зручним. 11)Найважливіша річ — це
те, що ми можемо обирати професію,
яка нам подобається, та стати гарни-
ми спеціалістами. 12)Тому, на мою
думку, неважливих професій не існує,
але є люди, які зробили неправильний
вибір.
